scenic stretches of the coastal path, Trebarwith
Strand is one of the loveliest, unspoilt little coves in
Cornwall. Magnificently situated half way up the cliff and 50
yards from the sea, there is no other inn in the county with a

The Bossiney House
Hotel in Tintagel is a family-run hotel located on the north
coast near the historic towns of Tintagel and Boscastle.

Porth Veor Manor Hotel and Self-catering Apartments, Newquay
Enjoying
an elevated position with terraced lawned gardens overlooking
Porth Beach this charming mid-19th century Manor is now a

Perfectly located in a traditional Cornish country village only
a mile or two from the bustle of Newquay, with its 12th century
church, thatched cottages and surrounding National Trust land,
the Fairbank Hotel is ideally situated as a centre for exploring
most of the mid-Cornwall golf courses such as
Newquay,
Perranporth,
Trevose,
Looe,
Lostwithiel,
St. Austell, and
Truro.
Just a few minutes walk from the hotel is the glorious Crantock
Beach. This magnificent expanse of golden sands stretches from
the rock pools below West Pentire headland to the tidal estuary
of the Gannel, which separates Crantock from Newquay.

Old Custom House Hotel, Padstow
Nestling within sight of the open sea at the mouth of the Camel
Estuary, Padstow has always been a thriving fishing port and
commercial centre for north Cornwall.
Within a fifteen mile radius are some of the finest golf courses
in Cornwall, notably the links courses of
Trevose and just over
the estuary, via road or foot ferry,
St Enodoc. Also close by
are Bowood,
Newquay,
Roserrow and
Lanhydrock.
At the heart of the town and overlooking the medieval harbour is
the historical Old Custom House Hotel. Standing on the
quayside, the Hotel is one of the finest buildings in Padstow.
The hotel has 24 bedrooms. As it is an old building, each room

The Old Custom House has long been a pub providing a focal point

Next door to the Old Custom House is the Pescadou restaurant.
Although part of the hotel, Pescadou provides a different

Situated on the south-east coast, the Hannafore Point Hotel is a

Falcon Hotel, Bude
The
Falcon is the oldest coaching house in North Cornwall and was
once the headquarters for the horse-drawn coaches running
between Bideford and Newquay. Travellers have been welcomed
here for nearly two hundred years and that old-time warm,
friendly atmosphere is apparent as soon as you walk through the
front door.
Just a few minutes away from
Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club,
overlooking the Bude Canal and with its beautiful walled

Bowood

Set
in 180 acres of stunning Cornish countryside along the banks of
the River Tamar and just ten minutes from Plymouth, as well as
its championship-standard golf course China Fleet is also

Not far from St Mellion, China Fleet is a good base from which
to play the spectacular Nicklaus course as a “treat”. It is

Lostwithiel Golf and Country Club
The Lostwithiel Hotel, Golf and Country Club is set within
extensive grounds in the small town of Lostwithiel, between St.
Austell and Bodmin.

Trevose Golf and Country Club
Trevose
is one of the most famous Cornish golfing venues. The course
has hosted several top events in recent years, and a lot of
money has been invested in course improvements, including
lengthening it to over 7000 yards.
Golf Holidays Cornwall has negotiated inclusive golfing packages
here, as well as accommodation-only stays playing a variety of
courses in the area. Relatively nearby are
St. Enodoc,
Newquay,

The country club consists of a range of accommodation of varying
sizes and to suit a variety of budgets. There are ten luxury
Flats, five Bungalows and seven Chalets.
In all the Club can accommodate over 120 guests at any one time.
The focal point of the clubhouse is a well-furnished air
conditioned bar which overlooks the putting green and the first
and eighteenth fairways, and further out to sea. The view of
the course and Atlantic coastline from the large bay window is
spectacular and would be hard to improve on anywhere in the
county.

International Resort
Another
well-positioned base for Golf Holidays Cornwall’s customers,
after a two-year £20-million refurbishment St Mellion
International Resort is now fully re-opened. St Mellion is
a stylish and modern resort with a great golfing heritage.
The multi million pound redevelopment includes a brand new 4

the existing clubhouse, and awaits the return of the European
